Cuccinelli Ignores Needs of Virginia's Uninsured

Virginia Young Democrats have called on Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to stop his frivolous lawsuit against the federal government concerning the recently passed health care legislation.

If Cuccinelli continues to wage a fruitless war against health care reform, 1.2 million Virginians will remain uninsured, 1.8 million children in Virginia will continue to be denied for pre-existing conditions, and families and businesses in the Commonwealth will continue to see their premiums skyrocket.

Yet again, Virginia Attorney General has decided to seek the front page instead of doing the job he was elected to do. Instead of fighting for Virginia, consumer rights, Ken Cuccinelli tried to force his will upon Virginia's colleges and universities in their hiring and admissions processes,VAYD President Sean Holihan said. Instead of protecting Virginians from high utility rates, Ken Cuccinelli would rather waste taxpayer money, staff‚ and time by filing frivolous lawsuits against the federal government.

Visit http://www.facebook.com/l/f6d4c;www.dropthelawsuit.com to sign the petition and tell Ken Cuccinelli to stop wasting our tax dollars.

E-Day Countdown: 32 Days to Go

"The choice in this election for Governor is pretty simple. Do we move Virginia forward…or do we go backwards? Rebuilding confidence in our economy starts with responsible leadership from a new Governor like Creigh Deeds"

- U.S. Senator Mark Warner

Every race across the state and in Richmond is close and losing is not an option for Democrats this year. Not after all the hard work we've done over the last decade. We worked too hard to elect Barack Obama, Mark Warner, Tom Perriello, Glenn Nye and Gerry Connolly; we worked too hard to take back the State Senate; we worked too hard to elect Jim Webb, Tim Kaine and Mark Warner. We cannot let Bob McDonnell and the Republicans take us backwards.

As of this Saturday, there will be ONE MONTH left until Election Day. ONE MONTH to hit the thousands of doors that we need to hit. ONE MONTH to make the thousands of calls that need to be made. ONE MONTH to win this election for Creigh Deeds, Jody Wagner, Steve Shannon. ONE MONTH to take back the House of Delegates!
